The risks of a low carb diet.

Wow, did you know low-carb diets are bad? Well not really as long as you know what to properly replace your carbs with. Read on....

Study showed that there is an increased risk of stroke and heart disease in people who eat low-carb. People that go on low-carb diets, however, replace the carbs with red meat and other animal proteins. This increase in meat consumption leads to higher cholesterol, atherosclerosis (narrowing of heart and brain blood vessels due to fat/plaque build up) and that's what increases the risk of heart disease and stroke. Instead, go on a low-carb diet but replace all those simple carbs (breads, pastas, sweets) with vegetables, low calorie fruits (NOT RED MEAT, NOT OTHER MEATS) and then you are on the right track.
